Coast Guard accepts TPG’s Risk Assessment of REGENT Craft's Wing in Ground vessel testing

The Paratus Group’s Navigation Safety Risk Assessment of proposed testing of REGENT Craft’s Wing in Ground (WIG) vessel was accepted by the United States Coast Guard on August 20th. Informed by the experience and expertise of collaborative regional stakeholders, TPG worked with the dedicated staff of REGENT Craft to identify strategies targeted to mitigate any risks to navigation, the environment or economy posed by the operations of this novel flying vessel.

LT Elijah LaMacchio, Sector Southeastern New England’s Waterways Managment Chief, had this to say of The Paratus Group’s effort – I speak for the wide group of Coast Guard offices when I say well done. Completing an NSRA of this magnitude for an operation as unique as this is quite the feat, and a job well done to you and your team.
