Despite the uncertainty in the offshore wind sector, Orsted and The Paratus Group have remained steadfast in their promise to the commercial fishermen and women of Rhode Island and Massachusetts. The Paratus Group has been uninterrupted in distributing funding provided by Orsted for navigation equipment upgrades and professional maritime training. Over $2M in vouchers have been issued to 190 commercial fishing vessels and their hard-working crews. More navigation equipment is being installed each day by local marine electronics vendors. Regional training centers are providing training vital to professional development and safety.
